Trip Introduction

WELCOME TO THE UNSPOILED BOLIVIAN JUNGLE!

Amazon-Angler’s Caño Negro Lodge set deep in Bolivia's Amazon Rainforest is an exciting adventure fishing trip for multi-species.

Our 'all inclusive' jungle adventure trips are based out of the Lodge and in the lagoons and main Caño Negro River. With plenty of species to target, you will be able to boast about your fish back at the well-stocked Cayman Bar at the Lodge at the end of each tiring day.

The Fishing

The fishing here is great and varied with lots of species to target on lures, flies and baits. With Peacock Bass (Cichla pleiozona), Payara, Piranha, *Arapaima, Corvina, Sardinata, Tambaqui, Pacu, Surubim Cats, Redtails and Jau Cats and much more.

*Arapaimas here are invasive, often affecting the natural balance of the original fish species. They are in their thousands and some are culled to keep the population down.

Fishing is in lagoons and the main river, with spinning, baitcasting, fly-fishing, but you can just relax in the picturesque surroundings and abundant wildlife that the Lodge offers.

Common wildlife sightings include macaws, parrots, storks, geese, and ducks, but we also encounter Jaguars, Tapirs, Agoutis and Pacas, Deer, Cayman, Capybaras, and Pink River Dolphins in their native environment. The adventure you are looking for can be found here!

The Accommodation

The cabins are all hand-built by the local Indians from sustainable wood and Patuju leaves. They are comfortable twin rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom with hot water.
