Dogfish or Cachorro (Acestrorhynchus falcatus) is a really aggressive mini-Barracuda with a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth. They only grow to 3-4lbs but are excellent sport on ultra-light tackle, small jigs and flies.
They are shoal fish and often, huge Peacocks can be seen exploding on these perfect snack-sized fish, with the shoal desperately running for cover. They are often used for livebait under a balloon or even an empty plastic water bottle.
